Look Ma! No Pink!

Yeah! I got to do another sketch challenge (Splitcoast Sketch Challent SC172)....and it is ON TIME! I don't know that I've ever made a card with these colors before...it feels very much like the 70s...avacado and and burnt orange, but it could totally be a boy card, which I'm not too good at! I have such a hard time NOT using Pink! I know I love the C.C. Designs Its My Birthday Set, and I LOVE-LOVE the rub-on stitches! I'm getting much better at applying them and I think I need to order more so save some for me!! I have never done the circles behind the brads, but I had to use my Big-Bite Cropodile to punch the holes and the holes were just a bit big and left the brads sliding a little bit, so I used the circles and I likie those too! I give this sketch an A+.

I definitely give this whole card an A+. The colors go together nicely (although they totally do remind me of the 70;s). Great card for a boy. I have been wanting to try putting the circles behind the brads but haven't gotten around to it. Adorable card!

Great card Kisa!! I totally love the bright colors and I am so excited about your rub-on stitches. I have seen them and never thought to use them in this way. I don't understand about the black circles behind the brads. Are those rub-on too or do you just stamp them. Thanks for sharing!!

A+ on the card too. Of course I am in love with everything you make. Good thing you live so far away or I'd be peeking in your stamp room windows.

And I mean that in the nicest possible way.

Wowsa, Kisa! This card is awesome!

I just love the colors, the DP, the stamped image, your coloring, the rub-on's, and the sentiment you used ... ummmm, which would be pretty much everything!

This is just terrific!

Great card- the colors are so warm and great job getting the rub-on stitches just right- they added just the right touch.

Great choice of colours. I love how the black just makes the colours "pop" that little bit more.
