Tea and all the yummy colors!

ATTENTION: Blog Candy still available below! Don't forget to leave a comment!

My most favorite tea is Tazo 'Zen'. It is DELISH! It is green tea, "A harmonious blend with lemongrass & spearmint." I LOVE, LOVE LOVE it! It is manufactured in Portland, Oregon (my home state), and I believe that Starbucks purchased it several years back. I don't know if you've tried it or not, but you can get it at Starbucks! I ran out the other day : (. I try to limit myself to ONE cup per day...but I make that one tea bag last a LONG TIME! I get two glasses of hot tea out of it, and then I get at least two cups of COLD water - my fav! When I run low....I hoard it until I get more for backup! I went to the store to pick up a new box, and sitting next to my beloved 'Zen' was a box of Assorted Flavors. Hmm.. It has Awake, Calm, China Green Tips (ick..tastes like mushed grass), Earl Grey, Chai, Passion, Decaf Chai, Wild Sweet Orange (pretty darn good), Lotus and Zen (YUMMY)! Sounded pretty good, so I decided to spend my money on the assorted box and left my Zen sitting on the shelf. (Note to self....NEVER DO THAT AGAIN!....buy both!) I got home and opened up the box....there are two Zen in there....I am now in hoarding mode until I get back to the store!
Anyway, I opened up the box and I was immediately in love! Oh the yummy colors!! I decided that I needed to make something with these colors...so I did! Of course, I didn't use Zen, not because I don't love the color (great green color)....but because I'm hoarding it, remember?!

I decided to go with Passion, Calm, and Awake, and I made another Meander Book...but now it is a meandering Tea book! Instead of using the Bind-it-All, I just cut a piece of cardstock to make a "book cover". I thought it would make a fun gift! I sort of flaked out on any fancy decoration....I mostly just wanted to show off the colors. I think maybe I spent 20 minutes on this! I used punches and a few stamps and this is what I came up with!

I wish my camera took better pictures with true color! Isn't this a fun color combo? I would normally never go with purple, red, and yellow!

Thanks for stopping by today! Don't forget the blog candy below! Who knows, maybe I will throw this in the pot too!

I tried this ''meander'' book. studied the tutorial that you referred to. All I did was create a mess, Please demo how to fold the darn thing up. I think you already know that I am a little challenged when it comes to following directions.

I completely understand the tea addiction- I have it bad myself! I have to count how many cups I have in a day and force myself to spread it out so that I am not wired until the wee hours of the morning!
