Running Late!

It seems that running late is my style lately! Running late, catching up....the story of my life!! I really wanted to do the SplitCoast Stampers sketch challenge today (it looks sooo good) but I just haven't had the chance yet. I did have a chance to make a card the other night and I don't know whether it is this week's color challenge or last week's, but I made it and that is what matters, right!?! The colors were Soft Sky or Bashful Blue, Kraft, and White, or maybe it was Black. I guess I should have paid more attention! Either way my card works!

Happy Card.

Guess what? There is NO STAMPING on this card! I used the Cuttlebug Birthday folder to emboss, it, sponged it a bit with craft white, then rubbed the Versamagic Black over the letters and edges, then when it dried, I used my white prismacolor pencil to color in the letters and dots! Then I used a couple of silver brads, and I used my silver metallic prismacolor marker to add a bit of shine to a few of the embossed elements as well! The little paper flowers were a gift (but I think the came from Michaels).

Thanks for stopping by! I'm hoping to some day be caught up with my life, but then I wonder if it would still be my life? Hmm..
