Tuesday Jacksonbelle Challenge

It's a Color Challenge! This week Beth picked AWESOME colors! I went for the clean and crisp look; no distressing and NO BROWN! Hah! Can you believe that?

The colors:
Bashful Blue
Real Red
Basic Black

The Card.

The details: The card is pretty straight forward....I started out with a B. Blue base, (I guess I did sponge the edges a bit with B. Blue but I wouldn't call it distressing....more like shading?), the next layer from the bottom up is white with B. Blue shading on the edges, topped with Black and cuttlebug embossed Red. I used the ticket corner punch for the corners and black brads to hold it down. The middle layer is white, Black, then B. Blue (with shading not distressing!) and a rub-on (not sure of the brand) "Thank You" and a rub-on for the black line, and I tied that layer up with a red-checked ribbon. Then I finished off the card with the final layer of black and white (again, with a touch of shading not distressing). This layer is popped up with dimensionals. The dragonfly is from Inkadinkado's clear set, Patterned Bugs, and the lovely little flowers along the bottom are from the Chloe Marie Rub-on pack! I also used Black Diamond Stickles to finish off the dragonfly and give it a bit of bling!
