Shimmerz Color Comparison

I have been asked by several different people about the Shimmerz that I use for my flowers, so I decided to make a little chart to share so you can see exactly what they look like on the white Prima flowers.   I used all of the colors that I own EXCEPT for the Limited Edition colors, Sagebrush, Rustic Red, and Beeswax (which happens to be one of my most fav. yellows).  I hope you find this a bit helpful!

Each flower shown here started out white.  I then painted it with Shimmerz paint.   Usually to help speed up the drying time, I use my heat gun on the backside of the flower for just a few seconds, being careful not to overheat the flower.

This one does have the LE Beeswax color on the far left.  I wanted to give a close up comparison of some pinks, greens, and yellows.  The Sunflower and the Evergreen have two flowers, the one closest to the Shimmerz jar is to demonstrate what several coats of the paint looks like, the rest of the flowers are just one good coat.

And here is a picture comparing Beeswax, Golden Wheat, and Sunflower.  The Sunflower has two flowers, again, the one closest to the jar has several coats of Shimmerz. DSC04424

All of the flowers shown here started out white and then were painted with Shimmerz.  You enter a whole new world of color by first coloring the flowers with a marker and then painting with Shimmerz!  The color possibilities are endless!

If you have any  questions, please don’t hesitate to ask –               I’d be happy to try to help!
