Jacksonbelle Embellishments Tuesday Challenge – Stitch it Up! Lindsey loved stitching on cards – faux or real…so she challenged us to stitch it up! I was thrilled for an excuse to pull out my favorite Daisy D rub-on tape stitches for this job! I love this stuff! Much easier to use than a sewing machine and it looks great! I used a zig-zag pattern and the Victorian stitch.
I was thrilled to finally be able to use this Nesties die – I love the shape and I think it works perfectly for the Basic Grey butterfly. I used my SU markers for the stamped image. It wasn’t a perfect stamped impression so I used the markers again once it was stamped on the paper to color it in just a bit better. Then I blasted it with Shimmerz – Blingz Hottie Pink. For the yellow/green color I used a Martha Stewart Glitter Pen.
The white dots were created with a white gel pen and all of the stitching is Daisy D’s as mentioned above. I used Basic Grey Urban Prairie paper and buttons – I am completely in LOVE with this collection! I added some MAMBI bling for a bit of extra pop! The ribbon is May Arts of course!
