Jacksonbelle Tuesday – CASEing Kim

Hi readers! Welcome to another Jacksonbelle Embellishments  Tuesday! Today we are CASEing Kim!  She has a wonderful blog with excellent tutorials, cards, and yummy recipes!  Thanks Kim for sharing your talents with all of us!   

This is the card I chose to CASE: Click Me! Click Me! I LOVED the simplicity of the layout – the two hearts and the sentiment seemed to perfectly balance each other and the scalloped edge really made it pop! 

Here is my version!

I’m really sorry for the darkness of the card – it seems no matter what I do – the camera just sucks!  I’ve added lights, I’ve photo-edited it – I just need a new camera, which unfortunately isn't going to be happening for quite some time!

I think I stuck with the basic layout of the card – the two main elements (like the two hearts) on a square – my sentiment wouldn’t fit on the bottom so I had to spread it out a bit – this is what I LOVE about rub-on sentiments!  I used Golden Wheat Shimmerz for the Prima flower (oh man be sure to check out Prima Flowers at Jacksonbelle Embellishments – she just got a whole bunch of stuff in like butterflies (in the voice of Homer Simpson).   The wonderful pear is from the Lizzie Anne Designs set Tutti Fruiti.  I used Scattered Straw Ranger Distress Stickles for the flower centers of the pear and to dot the scallops along the edge of the card.  The patterned paper behind the pear is October Afternoon Weather Vane – Sweater Weather.
