I just really can’t get enough of this paper! I LOVE the Woody Cars, the surf boards….all of it! It’s made by My Mind’s Eye- Breaking Free. I needed six cards in a hurry (I won’t tell you why!) and this paper pack was perfect!!
I’ll share one of the six with you today!
Nothing fancy here! I just cut out a 3-3/4 x 5 piece of Breaking Free, matted it with some matching paper, and stuck it down! No fancy layers or anything! I stamped Ms. Beach Babe (Beauty and The Beach) from Our Craft Lounge on some Neenah white, colored her up with some Copics, added some glitter, cut it out and popped it up just in front of the surfboards. She looks as if she’s saying, “Hey Baby…..Look at me!” Now check out her skin, please!! I’m so proud of myself! Look at that shading! Perfection!? Not quite, but pretty good, right? You want to know how I did it? Well, I copied the colored-in panel that the stamp set came on! Pretty smart, eh? I picked out two skin tones and copied away! I’m so proud! Those colored panels are there for a reason……….to be copied (or at least give you an idea of where to start!). Besides copying… I also LOVE using glitter! A little here, a little there……it really makes the card sparkle! Our Craft Lounge’s Crafty Sparkles ROCK!!! They are an ultrafine glitter (besides the two chunky glitters) and they are fabulous! I use a Quicky Glue pen and just go to town!
Thanks for stopping by! Since I was busy pounding out cards, I wasn’t able to do the next Jessica Sprague lesson, but hopefully I’ll have something to share soon!
