Our Craft Lounge Blog Hop!

She scrapbooks?   Why yes, she does….sort of and very rarely!!

footballpage1kp I just LOVE the new stamp set – Football All-Star – and I knew it would work perfectly for these photos ;D

I must tell you that my son, who is standing exactly like his dad in the photo above, got his permit yesterday and I let him drive for about 5 minutes – that’s all I could handle…. I also “let” him drive 15 mph in a 25 mph residential area! LOL!  I was sooo nervous that a little kid was going to jump out in the road and he wouldn’t know how to react.  Luckily there were NO pedestrians and not even another car on the road, but I’ve decided to let his dad drive with him for several weeks before I give it another try!!  Honestly, he did quite well – but if you know me…. you know that I’m such a nervous driver – I’m not a bad driver… I’m a “challenged”… I’ve always been that way.  I worry about EVERYTHING and I dislike driving in MOST conditions, and although I want him to be a very cautious driver, I don’t want him to be a nutcase like his mother!!

Ok, back to business!!  So you want to see the WHOLE stamp set?  Why, of course you do!

Football All-Star

This set is going to be my prize today, so make sure to leave a comment and tell me how much you love it! Ok…you can tell me how much you love another set… like Butterfly Kisses!! I kid… just go ahead and leave any ol’ comment you’d like!  I’ll be drawing Sunday, I believe – I’m so on top of it, aren’t I?

Now go check out the other blog-hoppers and see what wonderful creations they’ve got to share….they have prizes too!

Nice scrapbook page, Kisa! Have you considered taking your son to an empty parking lot and let him start there? He can work on pulling into and backing out of parking spaces too. Good luck when he asks to go on 101! I made my son pull over one time so I could yell at him and tell him everything he did wrong. Oh those were the days! I can honestly tell you my son is a fabulous driver (now) and you'll get through it. ;o)

See you tomorrow!

Girl, I am almost there with you. Austin just needs to study up a bit to get his learner's permit. I am already scared!!!!
Your page looks gorgeous! Wonderful way to scrap those football memories.
Have a great weekend! Hugs and smiles

LOL Kisa! I'm a total "challenged" driver too! I'm happy my girls still have a ways to go before I need to worry about them DRIVING..gulp. (heck...I worry about them riding their BIKES!...lol!) But I'll definitely let Chris handle teaching them!

FABULOUS scrapbook page! Great sets too my friend!

One of my favorite sets! Love it for scrapbooking too but had a blast using it for a card. I have another year before my oldest can get her permit. I rode with my sister when she had her permit but I'm sure I'll be freaking out when it's my own! Not looking forward to it at all. So jealous you getting to hang with Cami/Joy this weekend. Give them hugs for me.

Nice scrapbook page. I'm not really into sports, but I sure do love that butterfly kisses set!

I wasn't sure exactly where to post the comment. It looks like I'm posting on yesterday's instead of today's. Everyone's site is different, and sometimes it's really confusing to find the correct comment place.

I LOVE how you used this fantastic set, Kisa, and I LOVE the both your son and his dad are posing the same way! How cool is that??!!

I'm with you on the "rarely" scrapbooking (although I do enjoy it). Pretty page! :)

what a great layout! Love this stamp set, my son also plays football and he will get his permit in October! Crossing my fingers and toes...

Hang in there, I know it is unnerving to ride with a newbie (driver) but they need you to be calm and re-assuring. Believe me this makes all the differences in the world. I now have one son driving (1 1/2 yrs) and my middle one will in October.

It gets a lot better! :)

Fabulous football page, Kisa! I love the way you kept it monochromatic.

I am right there with ya on the driver's permit thing. Matthew hasn't had much interest, but his dad wants him to get started on it...it will certainly terrify me whether I'm in the car or not! ;)

What a great set for this page. My boys are only 4 and 6 right now, so a ways to go before HS football; but it will definitely be one to keep for future use. Thanks so much!

Beautiful layout. Good luck with your som and the driving. I'm sure he'll do fine. Although, I think it sounds like letting him go with dad for awhile is a good idea. Especially for you!

Ms. Kisa, it appears that you have the perfect inspiration for this stamp set, living right there in your house! Great page! I know you must have had a fab time over the weekend too. ;)
