The gift.
The cup.
I loved this tea can and I wanted to come up with something really cute to put with it but I just couldn't find anything that would work (or fit in the cup!) I thought about a dish towel but they were all too big, so I decided to go with the white washcloths that came in the set. I tried to make them look like a robe. Sort of silly, I know, and I don't even know if I pulled it off. I felt like the terrycloth sort of gave a cozy feel like a robe and I decided it was good enough! I also loved the look of the pink SU! stretchy ribbon around the cup...I thought it looked like a belt and it really reminded me of the elastic straps that you use at the hospital to keep all of the baby monitors in place!
The frame.
For the frame, I used Basic Grey Sugared. I LOVE this line. I had to piece this one together a little bit as the 6x6 paper just wasn't big enough to cover the whole word, but I LOVED the mini size of the flamingos and giraffes on the 6x6 paper for this project and it totally screamed MOM to me! I love the 6x6 packs because they are mini versions of the 12x12. The 12x12 of this design just would not have worked. I think this one turned out super cute! I also used Crate Paper rub-ons..and I thought the wording fit perfectly!
Thanks for stopping by!
