Bell Bottoms

Vampire BatLook what I made! I'm so proud! My friend was talking about what she was going to do for her daughter's Halloween costume and I thought it was a great idea, so I gave it a try! I'm half tempted to wear them as regular jeans rather than a Halloween Costume! I also added a couple of butterfly iron-ons. I took some scraps and made a purse too! I used my Basic Grey magnets (that I got from Jacksonbelle Embellishments) for the purse - not sure how long they will last on fabric without extra adhesive, but hey - I only need it for one night, right? I may decide to make it more permanent later, but for now they will do! I used a piece of fancy fiber for the handle and to make it just a bit heftier, I hand crocheted it (I don't have a crochet hook!). I also used Crystal Effects to glue on the flower - I LOVE it when my card-making supplies come in handy for other projects! Oh, and I used my daughter's Hello Kitty Sewing machine for these too - I love that thing! It doesn't go way too fast so I don't feel like I'm going to sew my fingers right into it!rainbow
