Lookin’ for a little love? You’ll find it at Our Craft Lounge in the Love and Such category! They have released three new sets!
I had the pleasure of using True Love. I love the boldness of this set, and I think the border stamps are so stinkin smart! This set actually comes with three border stamps! I used the same layout to showcase them here!
I used SU! Kaleidacolor Cotton Candy ink pad to stamp the ‘sweetheart’ background paper; it worked like a charm!
For this background, I used three different ink colors. Now that I look at it….I think I would like it way better without the pink row of hearts in the middle, but I think that was the first row that I started with and I wasn’t turning back!
And finally my favorite! I used my Prismacolor colored pencils to color the pink hearts and my white gel pen to color the white ones. I cut out the pink heart to give the “Love” just a bit more life! On each card, I added a small length of wire wrapped around the center of each bow – I made cheater bows and tied them before I put them on the piece of ribbon on the card, I love the ease of this, but I don’t love the piece of flat ribbon that shows from behind – so I cinched it all up with the piece of wire, cute enough, eh?
And here they are all together….a happy family!
Oh, and there are WONDERFUL Our Craft Lounge Stamples (like that – stamples! : ) over at Splitcoaststampers.com in the Dirty Dozen Gallery – go check them out!
