Card info: Okay - so I'm a little stuck on sponging - sorry! I'm sure it will pass pretty soon! Really a simple card, I started out with white shimmery paper. I stamped the sun in So Saffron then in More Mustard craft ink and embossed it with clear embossing powder. Then I started sponging. I used So Saffron and More Mustard (I only own a More Mustard craft pad so the sponging was a bit mucky). Then I started stamping the water. I do not own a Baja Breeze ink pad, so I used Soft Sky and Cool Caribbean, and then a few other blue Versamagic inks. I think it turned out pretty good. I used a darker blue to stamp a few waves in the water and then a white gel pen to highlight it a bit and give it a bit of white water. The seagulls are from a TAC stamp set, Lighthouses. I wanted it to sort of look like a panoramic picture, so I stuck some photo corners on it. I kept the rest of the card very simple, something I like to do when I do a technique or my main image is really busy. I used the Scor-Pal to make the embossed stitches. I just marked on the back where my stamped sentiment was (also a TAC stamp), then turned the card face down and used my Scor-Pal to create the embossed line. Then I turned the card back over and used a paper piercer to add some holes, which then creates a stitched look. I added a couple of brads and called it good!
I made this card at 1 a.m. last night ....I was running a bit late!
