Well, the weather here is a bit gloomy today so I’m glad that I have some summer stamps to play with! Beauty and the Beach surely cheered me up, and now it’s time for a bit of Sandy Sunsets from Our Craft Lounge.
This set is what I call a No-brainer solid set. Really, all you need to do is ink up the rubber, stamp, it and create a card around it. This time, I used a brown Rich Cocoa Memento ink and Tuxedo Black Memento ink just around the edges, then I stamped! The paper of course is My Mind’s Eye- Breaking Free – I told you – I got a lot of use out of this paper! I love the distressed look! I thought it went well with the beach shack!
Here’s a glimpse of the inside view. I cut out one of the surfboards from another sheet of Breaking Free and i used a little strip from the same paper on the front. I think this would make a really nice male teen card and I think it would go really well with a hemp-knot bracelet!!
I know you’ve been missing my photos…..so here are a few more! : )
I didn’t do any photo editing. I should go back and do that! This was the final lesson from Jessica Sprague’s online class. When life slows down, I do plan to take more!
